Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter Stands in Solidarity with our Sorors of Tau Theta Chapter

January 26, 2019

To commemorate our sorority's 99-years of existence, our Sorors from the Tau Theta Chapter at the University of Virginia (UVA) painted a message on the 'Beta Bridge' - a notable landmark on the university's grounds used by students to express themselves. On January 17, their painted message was defaced by a unknown party, with the phrase, “It’s OK to be white,” which is a line often used by white nationalists.

This was a heinous act and the members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter stand in solidarity with our Sorors of Tau Theta Chapter.
